Philadelphia, PA

Authorities today announced the arrest of a terrorist cell actively
engaged in "activities designed to spread terror."

The group which goes by the name "The Simpsons" claimed to be tourists
visiting Philadelphia. The ringleader, known as Homer, was
apprehended in the act of photographing an important public building
and center of government, Philadelphia's City Hall. An analysis of
Simpson's camera revealed a pattern of photographing other key sites
for possible terrorist activities, including Independence Hall, the
Constitution Center, and The Liberty Bell.

Upon arrest, bomb-making materials were discovered in the group's car,
including several six-packs of bomb casings, a number of clothing
articles which could be used to make fuses, and nearly half a tankful
of highly explosive liquid ethyl.

The remaining group members, known by their code-names Marge, Lisa,
and Bart, are being detained. A fifth member has been placed in
foster care.
